With Run Britain Licence
2017 will see the second staging of the Run Northumberland Coquet Half Marathon. Starting and finishing in the heart of Rothbury, the race will follow the Coquet to Hepple on the north side (quite flat) and return on the south side through Bickerton and Tossen (on a more hilly route).
Parking will be provided in the village and facilities for the race will include changing, refreshments, bag storage and water stations along the route.
Start time: 9.15am
Race entry for 2017 will include a commemorative race T-shirt and a finishers medal!!!

|Prizes||1st Male/Female overall – Trophy & Voucher worth £50
2nd Male/Female overall – Voucher worth £30
3rd Male/Female overall – Voucher worth £20
|Masters Categories||Age Group Prizes (W35+ and M40+ in 5 yr bands (a minium of 5 runners in each age band are required to qualify for a prize with no upper limit!)|
|Team Prizes||1st Male Team – UKA Affiliated Clubs (position of first 3 male runners from club) and prize vouchers
1st Female Team – UKA Affiliated Clubs (position of first 3 female runners from club) and prize vouchers
To be added – in 2017 we have taken out the Great Tosson loop to make the course slightly flatter!
Terms and Condition
Entrants to The Run Northumberland Coquet Half Marathon must be over the age of 17 on the day of the race. Running in an endurance race is a very rewarding experience, however it is not to be undertaken lightly. You need to be physically fit to complete the distance. If in doubt consult your doctor. Do not run if you are feeling unwell.
I agree to abide by the rules of UK Athletics and the event (note MP3’s and Ipods are not allowed). I understand that I enter the race at my own risk and that no person(s) or organisation(s) will be held responsible for any accident, injury or loss to myself, prior to, during or after the event. I understand the organisers reserve the right to delay, postpone, cancel, or not officially time the race in the event of adverse weather conditions or other events outside the organisers control. The determination of what constitutes this is reserved solely by Run Northumberland & Run Nation Events Ltd.
Entry fees are non-deferrable, non-refundable and non-transferable.
